AMY ROHRBACH: Co-Owner, Business Manager, Coach
Amy was an athlete in her younger years and has always been involved in various sports. She attended Central Michigan University and holds a Bachelors in Journalism/Advertising and a Minor in Fine Art. She spent ten years working through the ranks of a direct catalog marketing company in Grand Rapids learning everything she could about business and eventually leading the New Product Development Department of this multi-million dollar company. Her skills have translated well into owning a business and she is now responsible for the everyday operations of Flipstar Gymnastics, including financial, marketing, coaching and plunging toilets! In 2010 she moved to Ludington to purchase Flipstar Gymnastics with Aimee Goff.
It takes lots of people to make Flipstar run smoothly! Coaches, staff and volunteers have made a huge impact on the success of Flipstar Gymnastics over the years. With their help, and your support as parents of these fabulous kids, our track record of keeping kids moving, learning, fit and overall happy continues. We are grateful to all those who have helped ove the years and who continue to donate their time and expertise to needs of the gym. WE APPRECIATE YOU!! ---The video below is a meet-and-greet for our current staff!---
AIMEE GOFF: Co-Owner & Head Coach
Aimee has been involved in gymnastics since 1986 when she began participating in classes and found a natural passion and talent for the sport. She not only did high school gymnastics for Mona Shores Muskegon, MI, where she broke several school records, but attended several private gymnastics clubs for additional training and competition. She was MHSAA Gymnast of the Year in 1991. Aimee reached Level 9 status and was asked to be a member of the Central Michigan University Gymnastics Team. She was a contributing member of the team for three years during which CMU won the MAC Championships with their Women's Gymnastics Team. Since college graduation, Aimee spent 13 years as a Kindergarten & First Grade teacher, and has coached for various programs almost non-stop over the years. She holds a Masters Degree in Teaching and is a Certified Nutritional Counselor. In 2010 she moved to Ludington to purchase Flipstar Gymnastics with Amy Rohrbach.
ALYSSA TREJO: Competitive Team Coach
Gymnastics has always been a big part of Alyssa’s life. Having started the
sport at age 5, through dedication and hard work she moved up through
the ranks and reached Level 7 competitive status. She has coached at
various gyms around the country and brings with her experience in teaching
recreational classes, tumbling and Level compulsories. She enjoys coaching
children and watching them gain confidence through growth in the sport.
Alyssa is a graduate of Baker College and is a Physical Therapy Assistant,
a Magic Maker Travel Agent (Disney!), loves water sports, watching hockey,
playing the piano, traveling, and spending time with her husband, daughter and their two Pomeranians.
